The closest they every really got to actually resolving any of that was having Arcee Strongly imply that Optimus was not the Arisen, since she’s old enough she Knew the 13th Prime. Which raises the question of why she never clarified that to anyone before, even if only to Op in private, let alone why no one ever just asked her or Alpha-Trion.
