Anyone else agree with me that this is easily the most overrated MP figure? It's pretty early in the grand scheme of things, but even Optimus and Sideswipe before him are better. His leg and foot articulation are kind of jank, his hips are absolute garbage, and for just turning into a box, his transformation is kinda shoddy. The mini-cassettes mostly fall flat, and the tape eject gimmick doesn't even work that well. I feel like he just gets endless praise because Soundwave himself has attained ubermeme levels of pop-culture recognition. I don't think I've ever seen any figure get such universal praise for being one of the best when it's actually one of the worst. Like, he's going to get at least an A- from over half the fandom just because he's Geewun Soundwave.
He's like the only MP I would actually want to see a remake of, although with the current MP style, that's a monkey's paw waiting to happen.
