I only had 3 lacquers to work with (pic related), no airbrush and no other colours or effects. The yellow is done with watercolor, not waterbased acrylics but literal watercolour. So much on that tank is done with macguyvered household articles.
I enjoyed it and all things considered I was/am pretty pleased with the end result )except the yellow camo, I honestly think that it looked awful and nearly washed it off, but from a distance you can´t really tell and it is THE distincitve feature of jap camo).
I am now ordering a new model, more/proper paints and an airbrush. Looking froward to improving on that model, so many cool things I wanted to do that I simply couldn`t due to limited equipment.
