Bandai is their partner Takara's direct competition, so even though the GoGoV model kits wouldn't really be hurting Hasbro's bottom line, they've blocked the import of them and all other Bandai made Sentai products going forward. Hasbro has been going out of their way to erase Bandai America's most recent offerings with characters Bandai just recently did in the Legacy line, their own helmets, morphers, weapons, even their own flip heads are coming. Hasbro wants to completely erase Bandai's taint on the property and make it completely their own.
