Does anyone here think that the DC Multiverse Doomsday wave was partly to blame for Mattel losing the license? The wave was exclusive to Wal-Mart and it's been shelfwarming HARD ever since it was released back in 2016. Nobody wants fat Batman & lesbian Robin. Every Wal-Mart I go to has a full endcap of these dud figures and they're STILL full priced. They've pretty much bottlenecked other Multiverse waves from getting into the biggest retailer in the country. This one wave pretty much destroyed the momentum that Mattel was trying to get after relaunching DCU/Multiverse back in 2015/2016.
