>>8031758>Was it a good year for Barbie collectors I literally didn't even buy a single Barbie doll this year. I wasn't even actively trying to do it out of spite. Every time I'd go doll shopping I'd walk down the Barbie section and there was nothing of actual quality on the shelf to catch my eye. The only Barbie doll I was tempted to buy was the breath with Me Barbie doll because of her gimmick, but it just wasn't enough. I love Barbie more as a character than I do any of the new MGA characters, but I ended up giving MGA and Disney Store most of my money this year. It's true that MGA puts out more brown dolls than white dolls but the quality was there this year. I don't mind paying $26.99 for a doll If it's a quality doll, and it comes with a boat load of high quality accessories and a high quality two in one doll stand that doubles as a chair.
