>>8244083>>8244590>>8244164I think what happened:
>Security Breach planned for the summer>Funko plans to release merch. shortly afterwards (note that they were working with Steel Wool and Scott at least since February, and that Security Breach merch. was filed for copyright approval in April)>game gets delayed to late 2020>Funko already has the rights to make this stuff, can't back down or else they'll lose money>Scott and Steel Wool have to let them do their job, but only give them the very basic designs to go forward with>Funko pushes it as far as they can, and reveal it all per their contract/plansPersonally I think it was just all a matter of bad timing and planning. Its annoying to see people online going 'Funkos going to lose its licesne cause they made Scott mad', or assume it was a leak. They really should have made Help Wanted stuff along with some Security Breach to make everyone happy though and as a solid back-up plan. So many people want Glitchtrap merchandise, it's such a simple decision. At the same time, it seems like Funko is devaluaing certain things lately in favor of Star Wars and Marvel, so it wouldn't surprise me if they aren't taking FNaF's market appeal as seriously as they should be. Maybe they need some competition to help improve their quality?
