Maybe you could paint on some oils or enamels and then really, really carefully blend the edges or something but... have fun with that. Also, it isn't like every complex camo is doomed without an airbrush, it's just the soft edged stuff that becomes a major pain in the ass. But when you also refuse to mask you make all the hard edged stuff much harder to do well, especially if it involves straight lines and sharp points.
