I don’t usually post, have been lurking here for about two years and have maybe made two posts in that timeframe but recent reveals about TLM2 sets have convinced me to make this post.
The question is simple – how do you guys see the addition of a pink classic space astronaut? Personally I dislike it – not because of the color but because of the lack of the other colors that we had in the original batch. Simply put – having the pink astronaut in the set means you don’t get either regular blue (not Benny), red or black. To me that’s a disappointing situation as I’d have loved either one of the three to be included.
Now – I’m not saying pink is wrong – I would have been 100% okay with them having a pink one IF they had already brought back all of the classic colors. Right now, I fear we might not get some of them and it’s a shame we lost one type for this odd anomaly.
And no, this is not nostalgia or “purism” – I didn’t grow up with CS, I didn’t have any CS sets and have only gotten into old space themes about two years ago. So please don’t lump my argument/concerns on the count of nostalgia or autism.
How do you guys feel? Do you think they will give us the other three colors in the future? I hope they didn’t mold that helmet again just for two classic color types.
