I wasn't that into collecting at the time so I kinda agreed that $100 for a 17" doll was a bit high even if it was dressed a little fancier than the standard $20 17" Singing dolls that they were selling at the time. The LE dolls didn't sing so even though the dress was fancier Disney was already saving money by not including the singing mechanism. The 17" singing dolls even featured the original singing voices of the princesses. If the 17" singing dolls were sold at $20 and would even go on sale for $15 in 2011 the LE collector dolls should have been priced at no more than $60 or $70 in my personal opinion.
