Considering 1:18 mass market lines go for $12 and we see other lines like Boss Fight go for roughly $25, but include a shitload of accessories, i'd say they should cost $20-25.
Paint does cost more, but shit like GI Joes and MU figures are already painted up, so the increase in washes and the like aren't going to be ~$18 more. The paint apps are basically at the same level Toy Notch's $20 figures were at, just no brush/bristle flecking.
BTW, Toy Notch's had great QC. Everything was spot on, perfectly painted, yet their eyes are always fucking off.
Bad QC would be like Hasbro's, where you can find figures without derpy eyes. Consistent is high QC, even when it results in always bad shit (inconsistency is bad QC). Toy Notch cheaped out by not creating new spray masks, but i guess the damage was done when China shipped everything.
