On that note, one thing I love is when a character's popularity keeps the aesthetics or gimmick of their subline alive long after the rest of the line is somewhat forgotten. Like how Bludgeon/Thunderwing reps the pretender era alive, Waspinator reps the early Beast era, Skybyte keeps Transmetal 2s, Strika reps the Vehicons, and so on
