The people that love IDW are not gay men. They are just women. The entire female fandom is shipping obsessed teen and 20something women who only are into the media because they can ship boys together. I do not think you comprehend or understand how massive the fujos as a culture are into transformers, like the japanese have been doing this since the 90s but IDW leaning into it caused women in the west to flock to it in the last decade or so. This is the same for Megaman and almost anything like it. Gay dudes are an incredibly small minority compared to the hordes of women into it. They gays are not creating this content, a bunch of incredibly straight british dudes are doing it because they think that teenage girls will buy toys or for some retarded moral reason.
