>>6637365It's really contextual, but SHF has set the bar so low that even just a better engineered Mario is already an additional feature. Hey look, this one can do a t-pose for a spin or to toss a Cappy. This one can look up without it's head popping off. This one doesn't feel like a hollow shell that'll crack open from a mild drop. This one doesn't force an awkward double knee that doesn't need to be there.
Samus is big and from a more niche fanbase. Of course the budget is low on top of being completely eaten up by the figure's native mass. It's clear Mario isn't in the same league as Samus. He's smaller and more popular.
If you want to talk GSC, then let's talk about Max Factory's partner. Look at this. It's already got more to offer than the SHF. Sure, it may be the diminutive body. However, try translating this to a figma Odyssey Mario you can work around this for at a complete Mario experience.
>Mario>Those faces>Open hands>That dash effect>Cappy>Maybe an effect part to highlight Cappy being thrownIf the figma itself is engineered well enough, then it's already a homerun compared to the existing SHF. The big point is that I think Bandai could do this as well. They chose not and imply they don't give enough of a shit to try with this rerelease.
