It's a much more casual experience which isn't a terrible thing now that I'm older, have a full time job, etc. Caring for multiple tamas is a little misleading. You care for them one at a time until they grow into an adult. Once they are an adult, you can choose to keep caring for it or have it breed to make a new egg. The adult stays on the land, but effectively becomes an NPC in the land while you take care of your new baby. I love the Tama Planet, Gaiatchi, and the other fun things you can do in the Paradise, though. Like visit other planets. Overall I'd say it's worth it if you like Tamagotchi
