but every so often you get something where they seem to have done it on purpose. At least with Tezuka's work (which probably inspired this here white lion), there's the excuse of his influences, and starting back in the fucking 40s. appealing-but-not-corny art simply didn't ~exist~ yet.
I want a cool anime lion, dammit. like... Toramaru.
