It's still early to tell for these new preorder kits of future shows, but have Bandai Hobby been better at picking the good new IP's (or sequels) than Collectors?
There's been overlaps of course, like Active Raid or Pacific Rim 2, but it seems like Collectors had more utter failures than the kits. Like Darling in the Franxx, Knight's & Magic, or Back Arrow. But I'm not entirely sure if the non-Gunpla kits are performing that much better in comparison. Maybe a different genre and wrong to compare, but for example Girl Gun Lady feels like a giant loss, but not sure how well they sold.
Anyways I had a feeling the kits have been doing better at this type of gamble. But maybe they haven't been taking as much risks yet.
