>>6655883TLG doesn't have an opinion on MEGA Contrux. They're not stealing LEGO's ideas, and they pretty much just do their own thing. LEGO really only has issues with Lepin and other bootleg companies that steal designs and IPs from LEGO and their partners. There is a pretty lengthy legal dispute going on about Lepin, but MEGA doesn't really bother anyone up high. It's only an issue when the occasional parent gets furious we won't return their Despicable Me MEGA set and ends up writing corporate about it.
>>6655964Pretty deep. VIP cards now print off lifetime amounts, and I only started my Employee VIP Card mid last year. Already up to 2600 points. And I dropped $300 on bricklink this week.
>>6656033I'm not 100% sure, but I have a feeling it might be due to Disney being incredibly tight about what they give TLG and other toy companies for 'concept work' and on top of that, they constantly change designs for the final release. A good example of this is when the Resistance Troop Transport came out, TLG was given one untextured 3D model, and a concept photo with it incredibly small in the background. The designers basically had to guess the colors. I would imagine this is the most likely reason Marvel characters don't have as much detail, is because Disney won't give them any detail.
>>6656069I'm just waiting for the Employee Ban on buying the Falcon to end ;)
>>6656070Not selling mine, and I've opened it anyways. Check ebay.
>>6656082I could go into that in detail about how corporate has fucked us, but I'll choose not to.
By Ultra-Builds I assume you mean those contraction figs that lasted for a single year? Yeah no.
Still to be continued.
