What kind of premises and storylines lend itself well to ongoing Lego larp play?
I'm thinking it would probably be something in the realm of survival(think minecraft)&homesteading(think stardew valley), basically anything where your character starts with a little spot and gradually develops acquiring more shit and continuously expanding it to be bigger and better.
That or a more dollhouse sitcom/soap opera setup where you have a large established set and an ensemble cast that for the most part doesn't change so it's all about going through endless shenanigans using what you have but ultimately retaining the status quo.
I feel like for something like a fantasy rpgesque epic adventure it's harder because it calls for a ridiculous amount of new huge setpieces for each individual situation that become obsolete after you're trough with it. Like, let's say you need some sort of dungeon and monster - you go through all the effort of building them but once you're characters overcome that particular area it no longer has much point, you interrupted you're play for a long time to put together something that's gonna be discarded fairly quickly after fulfilling it's purpose and move on to the next adventure. You would need to be doing this over and over unless you want your characters to be stuck facing repetitive challenges on the same areas.
