I was expecting lego to put out a piece like this for years now desu. Unexpectedly they made the snot pieces stick out by a half-plate as if they were brackets and the t-shaped plates are an odd shape to say the least (my guess would be rigidity).
These pieces will change the game of sorts, but maybe not as much as you think. Now this is my personal autism territory of tryint to slam vehicles as low as possible while being stable, but this does make for some wheel solution limitations and width limitations. But most important of all for me wheelbase limitations as i really like the more stubby lego-fied look.
I'm interested to see where this ends up and how the new speedchamps prototype ends up looking in more final iterations.
