>>10156509The character choices don't bother me so much as how weak that wave was. It really should have been proper sendoff for Bionicle with full-size revamps of all the most iconic characters from across the years. Can't really blame the set designers though since they were probably the ones who had to fight for a final wave in the first place.
My ideal version of Stars would have been a proper wave with the standard 6 canister sets and a few titan/vehicle sets. The golden armor gimmick was actually pretty cool so I would keep that. My choices for the canister sets would be:
>Tahu Nuva - His mask would be the Nuva version (possibly redesigned? it's adaptive armor afterall), but the gold one would be the original Hau. The gold armor would replace the Nuva silver once you collect all the pieces.>Hahli Mahri - With a new non-aquatic version of the Faxon. Dope mask already but it would be cool to see a new version of it. Alternatively, keep the mask mold but make the set in her OG Matoran colors.>Gresh - 09 still needs a rep and he's one of the main characters. Have him be transformed into a Toa and/or granted elemental powers in the story. His mask would be a combination of his original helmet and a classic Kanohi.>Rahkshi - This was already a good choice so nothing to change here. Yellow was a good pick but it could be used to fill any color that's missing from the Stars lineup.>Piraka - Same as above. Any color is fine. Possibly a female one?>Shadow Toa Ahkmou - Something that was already hinted at in the story but we never got. Also one of the most iconic villains so it would be a shame not to include him.>Wildcard - Really any of the other villain sets could go here as long as it's not Skrall, considering those fuckers already got a whopping FIVE characters in 09. Maybe a Vahki with the disk launcher replaced with the Thornax launcher? It would basically have the same mandible look.
