There's never been a NECA that I thought came anywhere close to the quality of an SHMA and the Super7 line already looks like a dud IMO, but the Hiya Kong looks pretty darn good. It's trying to be accurate to the movie, while the SHMA wanted to try for a more realistic version of Kong by bringing in a primate sculptor to build him from the bones up.
