Its probably coincidental but I respect the fact that he's a remold of Sideswipe, given how the ancient fan custom Delorean figure steelskin was also based off G1 Sideswipe. this looks shitty now but back in the day it was amazingly impressive how a fan reshelled a Sideswipe with a Delorean model kit and made a custom box AND commercial.

Reminds me of the guy who grafted a DeLorean model kit onto a G1 Sideswipe back in 2000. It looks like crap,now, but considering how limited realistic vehicle Transformer molds there where back then and lower expectations in general, it was pretty cool. The guy even made a commercial for it.
