So when McFarlane had toys like this in sealed clamshells, companies like 4H were releasing their indie shit in clamshells that weren't sealed. Same shit with SOTA and Toy Biz.
I mean, i could be wrong, because i didn't really buy first waves (because most of them looked like shit) that came in clamshells, but i definitely remember sealed clamshells being a thing when indie lines and limited editions were coming in unsealed clamshells at the same time. But giving the original ML wave a quick peak, they were also sealed.
