I've been wanting to get a reasonably priced transforming Optimus Prime that would look nice next to my Robot Spirits and Super Mini-Pla. Not that they have to scale properly, but something close to 6 inches tall in robot mode would be ideal.
So what are my options? Googling it I came up with the THS-02 Hybrid Style (beautiful looking but way too expensive and too fragile for my taste) and the Transformers Universe SE-01, which isn't as nice but is just the right size and wouldn't break the bank.
Are these the best options, or are there better versions available? Ideally it would look as close to the classic G1 aesthetic as possible but I'm somewhat flexible on this point.
