I don't know what's compelling me to want to post about this thing.
The build quality and engineering on this guy is really nice. The plastic is thick and sturdy, aside from the forearms there are basically no parts that feel hollow, and nearly every screw is covered. The joint tightness is pretty much perfect all around and and everything fits together perfectly with really precise clearances and tolerance in both modes. This is legitimately the first thing I've bought in a while where I haven't needed or wanted to fix something out of the box. X2toys REALLY put effort to make something good here.
I think the only problem (aside from the face) is that some of the diecast parts have paint wear around their edges, that make me think that during manufacturing, they cut them off the runners, painted them, and then dumped them in a box to rattle around in and grind paint off each other while waiting to be assembled. Mine doesn't have any bad paint chips but knowing this I wouldn't be shocked if someone bought it and there was just huge chunks of paint missing off diecast parts.
