Brothers and Sisters... this is going to be a LOOOOOONG RANT!!!)
I love Kotobukiya... I love them so much that I have EVERY SINGLE FA GIRL VARIANT with unhealthy amounts of duplicates. Everytime I open a Koto Box, it's like Christmas... or maybe a Lootbox (aka legalized Gambling for Children) except I already know what's inside and the CRIMSON WING is no different... oh by the way... THIS IS QUITE POSSIBLY THE MOST #@$@&^!% FRUSTRATING KIT I HAVE EVER ASSEMBLED ONLY RIVALLED BY THE LUCIFER WING AND I FREAKING HAVE THREE OF THIS VERY SAME KIT!!!
OK, let's start by saying how gorgeous the kit is in it's Red and Black theme and the engineering design done to it. I mean, you got a Horse, a Bird, a Centaur with Special Needs, a Robot, a very pointy Robot and then the combination of all parts where you get another Robot but this time with the added bonus where you get the option to put a pilot in it! Cool eh?... Yeah... WELL NOT! Because it's this complicated setup is the very source of this kit's two biggest weaknesses... It can't stand on its own and it's the very definition of Hand Grenade as far as Model Kits are concerned. You have NO IDEA how frustrating to handle this kit is. It's like POLVORON!!! You touch it and 90% of the time, something will move, something will fall or in the worse case scenario, it will crumble... LIKE POLVORON!!! You see, it doesn't have to be this way. When you first open the kit, you will be greeted by a huge almost booklet like instruction manual where it will guide you step by step from one transformation to another until you get to the final transformation... AND THAT IS WHERE THE PROBLEM COMES.
