The minifigures.
OK, heres where the quality takes a little dip.
The printing on said figures is good, no smudges or misprints that I can see (correct me if im wrong by seeing the attached pic of said figures, I dont have the OG set or figs to compare...).
The glow in the dark pieces dont glow very well and dont have the "UV charge" capabilities as official lego glow pieces do (UV Charge: if you have access to a black light and any lego pieces that glow in the dark, for example, Brick Daddies head from the Lunar Limo set, hold it in blacklight for a minute and then take it away. It will glow even if it isnt dark.)
I had to replace the zombie chefs legs with official lego legs as they were VERY loose and swung freely.
The two ghosts were the worst offenders of the quality dip, as youll see in the pics. Their ghost....cowls? hoods? clothing? is fucked up. The hole inside it where the minifig head slots in is too long, so the clothing sits way too high. It causes the ams to pop out of their sockets if you try to move them too high. I even cut and shaved off the neck of the ghosts blank black heads (I know, ultimate heresy, but I would only perform that surgery on a bootleg piece, never an official.) and the clothing STILL sits too high.
Lady Vampyres hair is NOT based on the original mold that came with the OG version. In fact, it is a mold I do NOT recognize and could not find ANYTHING similar on bricklinks list of hair pieces. Anyone recognize it? Could it be a copy of some third party piece?
Lord Vampyres cape is VERY flimsy. Its even cheaper than the starched paper shit lego uses for their own capes and is very thin.
