Somewhere later our Philippine house got sold off and a good family friend kept all my scale figs. At age 24 i had to go back to the Philippines for a couple week to run important errands, said family friend gave me back the figs he salvaged from our old home, meanwhile i thought to myself that i have no interest in scale figs anymore and i have no more space in my luggage to keep them so i just picked one or two small ones out of twenty.
For whatever i did with the rest of them, i called one of my cousins who was a bit of a weebs and told him "Here, you can take all of these you can keep some of them, or give them away to some of our old friends"
I felt like a chapter of my life concluded, reconciled that day
