>>10195191Because you retards won't give up and because I apparently have nothing better to do, here is a side-by-side.
From left to right Tamiya XF-2 (made a mistake on the picture), AK 3rd gen Intense White, Intense Yellow and Intense Red. The XF-2 is there because I had it around and someone mentioned Tamiya before. The AK colours were all thinned the same way. Excuse the smears the mask left, but I wasn't going to waste any more time on this than I had to.
I laid the white in thinner coats than I usually would and the other two a bit heavier (in fully wet layers). Also the camera picks the white up better, so the layers on that are more obvious, for the colours a bit less.
Results:
XF-2 - Full opacity in 5 thin layers, nearly there in 4
AK White - Full opacity in 3-4 layers, less difference than in the Tamiya paint.
AK Yellow (which might I add has very good coverage for a yellow) - Coverage in 6 layers, but black still glowing through (compare to one layer on white on the left)
AK Red - Coverage in 5-6 layers, black doesn't glow through.
I was expecting that the yellow and red cover even worse, but I guess laying them on heavy helped.
For brush painting both the yellow and red are near impossible to paint on black, while the white is manageable.
