Up until BM there never felt like there was a "star" of the Transformers line yeah Optimus and Megatron got the most expensive toys, but every character got their own art and bio and the line itself didn't seem to discriminate. Beast Machines ditched that for obnoxious pictures of Cheetor's face on every box, and released a bunch of different Cheetors, making him the clear "star". Hasbro would continue this with the movies and still doe this with the kiddie lines.
