You've got themes of music and dancing (not to mention the tiles are literally used to unlock different emotes), plus the wacky character designs (especially the animal-themed stuff). It's a way for Lego to appeal to that audience (ie, pretty much every kid) without having to worry about licensing or muh realistic guns. The idea that there's subliminal LGBT stuff hidden in them is completely a schizo delusion.
