>>5694885>I like how you yourself started this by setting the metric of easier to get comic con exclusives than find ML or black series figures at MSRPThat's retarded and my comment was only to point out that it's retarded logic. A toy should only be judged on it's MSRP.
>are now moving the goal posts to now be finding a flawless one ONLY in person. I'm not sure how it's moving the goal post, since, if I'm buying a toy, I'm going to make sure it's not derpy as fuck. Sometimes you have to go through the pegs to find the few/many. Sometimes it's your only choice....
>Again, you think flying across country, obtaining a 4 day ticket for a notoriously difficult event to get 4 day tickets to, spending a thousand plus dollars is easier than just buying a mass market figure online. Except I'm not going to SDCC just to buy toys.
This logic is just as retarded as considering the true cost of the toy to be what scalpers charge.
If I added up the total expenses for going hunting for a mass market figure, it's probably like 10¢, since i only go hunting when I'm in the area and usually buying other shit while I'm there. Same shit applies to SDCC, but some shit at SDCC isn't stuff you can actually price, like meeting up with far off friends.
So fuck off with your retard logic. Just because you'd only go to SDCC to buy a toy doesn't mean everyone else does.
