So 3 days ago was the release of bratz Cady and she sold out in 2 minutes so drama begun because people weren't expecting the demand as if they didn't market the doll to all the normies and said super limited.
She was most collector least favorite doll because of her outfit (they wanted the blue hoodie and plaid skirt look) and now resalers are already gouging her from $300 to $1000.
A lot of collector were nonchalant about her release because of their expectations since Mga collector dolls have usually a large edition size. So they were rightfully upset by Mga decision to make them super limited but all of bratz collector dolls from past years are still available like the cgds, pride pack or cult gaia not to mention the Kylie collab flopped hard at retail.
I while ago people were speculating at a Mga creation like site and releases but weren't really expecting early mattel creation levels of scarcity, if the mean girls x bratz collab succeed it could signal a shift in the way Mga market their future collector dolls. I could also mean they could offer popular concepts that wouldn't have worked at retail like a release of omg fierce s2 or more mature looking dolls in general.
