>>8734041>Damn I like the open mouth smile on the older one more than the new one. If you're interested in the old face mold, and have a JcPenney store close to you it should have a Disney doll section. The dolls cost $15 each, but unlike the Disney Store dolls they do not have wrist or elbow articulation. Also the JcPenney version may or may not come with the necklaces, but if you're only interested in the old face mold, the crown, and dress it's a good option. The JcPenney dresses can sometimes be nicer then the Disney Store dresses. The dress has two layers. A soft dress with no glitter on it, and a second layer of tool with glitter that goes over it.
>have they changed the body in the past 5 years?Yes, they've gotten worse. In a feminist forward attempt to desexulize the princess dolls they remolded the legs to make them less shapely. The new post 2015 legs are slightly shorter, and kinda look like sticks compared to the older more shapely legs that had pointed toes. They also given them flat feet instead of pointed toe feet which looks horrible on characters like Elsa who are supposed to have high heel ice crystal shoes. The JcPenney dolls still have pointed toe feet, and the last time I bought one they still came with the old high heel shoes instead of flats.
>>8734038I've never tried this before. I'm scared it might melt or affect the hair.
