In hindsight I'm surprised Hasbro didn't lean heavier into the Yuuzhan Vong saga for a toy line. Those guys were basically made to be toys. I guet that the Vong saga was never intended to be a big transmedia event like Shadows of the Empire (and it wasn't as good, at any rate), but it was something new and fresh to the setting that could have been tapped into a lot more for toys and games. Star Wars merch is basically going to be Rebels vs. Imperials from now on with occasional Clone Wars stuff, because God knows no-one gives a shit about The Resistance and First Order.
