Ended up giving it a flat coat which does look good, but I definitely had trouble with this one with the decals and I don't even know what happened with the paint on the tailfins. Also was my first time trying to paint thin details on the clear pieces which didn't give the best results. Probably will go back and panel line once I figure out how to deal with the extremely small raised details properly.
Ultimately, I still think it came out okay and I learned a lot, so worth the $4 I paid.
