Aside from what everyone is saying, Jazwares only proved that Sonic characters weren't easy to "toy", because Sonic's quills would counterweigh, Knuckles' dreads were obstructive, then there's that whole deal with everyone's knees and elbows. It would only be like a decade later that Jakks would figure out that the obviousness of ball-joint ankles, but not so much the ability to make proper elbows without compromising design. Jazwares would eventually make those cool Fortnite figures and move on to Pokemon
