One thing I do like about some of the Lala/Moanica two pack is that the heads are more expressive than the older dolls. Moanica is just oozing smug bitchiness while Ghoulia’s expression is dead. (No pun intended.) The Reboot Lala’s face reflects her naturally optimistic personality that the seductive vamp of the older doll. Not that the new faces work for everybody. I love old school Clawdeen’s sassy face over the reboot’s too pure & innocent face. Same thing with Cleo, who’s naturally more cold & mature in personality than the wide eyed doe look. These dolls need to show more of their individual personalities more, warts & all.
