It's a giant waste of space for most people on /toy/, but because this is all they can afford, it's what they use. A lot of people also stuff those shelves creating a clusterfuck, because they can't afford another case, muchless one that actually suits their collection.
It's like someone buying XXL pants for themselves because they were on clearance, instead of the L that actually fits them.
