We actually lost a lot of the beach for a few years due to rising lake water but somehow it's corrected.
Re: LEGO. I have an friend who's RPG group all has figures based on their characters and if they get a major upgrade in items or whatever it's pretty easy to do so with the figures as well.
I killed a camera (over about 4 or 5 years) by getting tiny microscopic bits of grit in the gears.
- now I use this much cheap (er) waterproof we got (on sale) for beach shots n rain.
