That's a fucking horrible message to send to anybody, let alone kidsNot defending this set at all, but I think it's a bit disingenuous to say that's what the premise of the show is. People voluntarily choose to have a lifestyle makeover after living through whatever hardships that caused them to horde, have a shitty home life, fashion sense, or lack of home decor sense. It's no different a show than Extreme Makeover: Home Edition except they apply the same improvements to all aspects of said person's life.
