>>8960187I could be wrong, but the Millenium Puzzle appears to be prepainted/have a special coating. It definitely doesn't look like Bandai's usual cheap swirly butterscotch-y gold plastic. And before anyone says "but they could have just painted up the sample for the promo pics!", the pic of the runners also has the same gold shine.
tl;dr: unless you're real picky about your golds, you might not need to paint.
