>>7052901>There were no dolls sold in such horrendous fabrics. All three fashions are vintage reproductions. So there were dolls sold in such horrendous fabrics. Or more specifically, fashion separates that you bought to dress your single dolls. From left to right, the fashions are replicas of: Tangerine Dream, Flower Wower, and Cool Casuals.
>There's no need to "reproduce" it if you can't put the effort, and just literally dowgrade them packed in a trioDowngrade them how, though? I don't see anything about these dolls that is low effort compared to the originals. These are reproductions of single Barbies from that era, wearing an outfit that you'd buy separately from that era. They're not reproductions of special sets that came with anything. She's got a Marlo flip because it's a 1968 inspired set and a ton of the dolls had the flip.
And of course you don't have to like it personally, but it seems odd to jump through hoops to criticize it for being a "lazy repetition" and claim that "no dolls sold in such horrendous fabrics" when they're reproductions of 1968-era dolls with reproduction fashions. Don't like it, that's fine, different strokes, etc. But don't do it while making false claims.
