While I still dislike the artistic design direction of the Variant line, I can't say that the articulation is what makes them look bad. That said, I'm looking at this Tifa and these knees certainly don't look as nice. But it seems she also comes with an alternate head for a different facial expression and sweeping hair, so that's a massive plus. I still don't think it'd be worth 120, but maybe one day I'll crack and try out another PAK since it's been so long.
In the end though, I don't care about the Variant line personally, and I'd just like to see FF/KH stuff that's more in scale with figma and SHF. That won't happen though, so I'm just gonna wait on a really nice Balthier or a Sora with an interchangeable face. That KH3 Sora admittedly looks fucking gorgeous but I don't want that Keyblade and I want more faces damn it. If he were 80 I'd probably go for him.
