>>8893849There's a ton of shit the fandom has memory holed. Nobody remembers Angry Birds Star Wars which is still the dumbest thing the franchise has ever done, even including Disney's shit. It wasn't even just a crossover game with some toys, they straight up marketed it with movie-style promotions: bedsheets, shower curtains, Halloween costumes, etc. Their reasoning was that because Star Wars was huge, and Angry Birds was huge (at the time), then the combination would be the biggest thing ever and would rake in millions in merch and to the surprise of absolutely nobody this did not work out that way at all.
