Frankly, I think Max Factory is punching way above their weight with this sculpt, this is the sort of sculpted detail that I DO associate with companies like 1000Toys (at least in the armor itself, the skin is pretty bad looking).
Also, Mondo showed off a prototype Slayer that is stuck in limbo for now, and 3A made this one from the first game.
