The problem with fidget spinners is they aren't meant to be toys. They were designed as a device to help kids who need something to twiddle/fidget with, But someone isntead saw marketing oppertunity, and turned it into a fad by making custom colors, light up neon ones, and designer brands.
Of course teachers outlaw them now. Its one thing to have one for medical reasons, its another to have a light up toy that distracts other kids in class.
I work job where I entertain kids for field trips, and almost 9 times out of 10 at least one of them is spinning this thing when I'm talking to them. Its really annoying because you can tell these kids aren't even attention deficit, its just a fucking toy to them.
