>>9968098>not that you'd specifically feel bad about the guy having a mode that's only useful in a specific circumstance. so not a critique on the toy concept, just you saying you'd rather get the whole teamI mean that if the combined mode was easy to start transforming the figure into, it would be a bit jarring to have vestigial parts and ports that just remind you "he had friends motherfucker, but you didn't buy them and now you're both lonely" or "you missed buying the other ones haha". Like, the Grimlock head and Dreadwind/Darkwing's combiner ports are like, somewhat easy to ignore, but if I had to move them around during the bot/vehicle transformations I'd get a bit annoyed.
But yes I do like comboners, I also try to appreciate individual bots as well, sorry for the tremendous confusion in being unclear.
>you naturally end up with some guy stuck on his own and now his combiner part doesn't work. yeah I get it.YEAH!!! The Dreadwing guys thankfully have each other, but if I got say, Botcon Exclusive Windsweeper because of childhood memories, and he just has that combiner port visible on his chest, I would probably be a little bit sad..
