Let's have a holy grail redpill thread. By this I mean, post a holy grail toy or something you've desired for so long, and after getting it, you realize that there's something majorly wrong or disappointing with it, even if you still like the toy itself. This is to inform other collectors who may have the same grail as yours, to lower their expectations a bit so they're not that disappointed when they get it, or even make them have second thoughts about buying it, especially if it's expensive.
I'll start with the old Cloverfield Monster that Hasbro made. It's definitely big, and has a lot of articulation, but due to the plastic, it's very common that any copy you'll buy that isn't MISB, the legs will be warped to shit. The joint placements aren't all that well thought out either, with most of them proving to be ineffective for more subtle gestures. The ratchets on the shoulders and elbows are also very limited, and are stiff enough that they aways sound like they're going to break.
Still a good toy though, but just be wary.
